"visited yesterday for a quick meal and we were very impressed Lots of choice on the menu and very reasonably priced in my opinion. i had the marry me chicken pasta which was delicious, huge portion too with a generous amount of Parmesan, chicken & tomato. I had the dragon fruit & mango cooler which is definitely worth it. will return!"

"My brother and I shared a wonderful Persian mezze plate when we visited Elly’s. The coffee is always great the food was beautifully presented and all very tasty, we had the aubergine dish, the sausage and the falafel. More than enough for two healthy appetites for brunch. The staff are always very helpful and keen to please."

"Fabulous first visit for breakfast today. Staff really care! Great atmosphere and decor. One full English and one Parma ham, eggs and rocket. Both delicious and accompanied by excellent decaf cappuccino and black tea. Will try the Persian dishes next time."

"Visited Ely’s Cafe on Maypole Street and had a great experience. The loaded hash browns were amazing — perfectly cooked, generous toppings, and full of flavour. The service was excellent, and the staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. Such a lovely local spot. Highly recommend and will definitely be back."

"Such a lovely place. The staff are all so friendly. We go every Friday when school finishes. So kind to my son and the dog. They have good humour and attentive service. The food is amazing and the homemade cakes my son really enjoys. Especially the chocolate ones."
